Before founding Kaur Realtor Brands, I worked inside one of the largest real estate marketing programs in the country — creating luxury listing copy for Northern California properties within Coldwell Banker's Listing Concierge program.
My role was not editing templates. It was writing property narratives from scratch: researching addresses, studying architectural and design details in listing photographs, and producing polished copy within the 24-hour turnarounds that program required. I also worked with Coldwell Banker's legal team to help develop national copy quality and compliance standards.
That experience gave me something most marketing vendors in real estate don't have: a systems-level understanding of how listing marketing is built, where it fails at scale, and what the difference looks like between copy that describes a property and copy that positions it.
It also showed me what was missing. In that era, listing marketing meant print, postcards, and an MLS description. It did not include social media, email campaigns, Instagram carousels, open house promotions, or sold announcements. Agents were underserved by the system even then.
